Recent Middle School Trips: Volcanoes and History Adventuresfilm festival dedicated to the challenges of sustainable development

Over the past few weeks, middle school students have been enjoying several exciting school trips! Just before the holidays, the school became much quieter, as no fewer than six classes were away — some travelling and discovering new places, others completing professional internships 😚

Today, we are sharing highlights from two unforgettable journeys.

🌋 8th Grade Trip to Auvergne

Our 8th grade students travelled to Auvergne, the famous region of dormant volcanoes. It was an amazing trip full of activities and breathtaking natural landscapes 🌄

During the stay, students:

  • became real volcanologists for a few days,
  • climbed several volcanoes,
  • walked on ancient lava flows,
  • explored caves,
  • and discovered the beautiful city of Clermont-Ferrand 🥰

We are sure they returned home with wonderful memories. And who knows… maybe Auvergne will become your next travel destination 🤫

⚓ 9th Grade Trip to Normandy

Meanwhile, our 9th grade students explored Normandy through a journey combining culture, heritage and history.

Their program included:
🏰 discovering Caen and its rich medieval heritage
⛱️ relaxing in Cabourg, a charming seaside resort
🚩 visiting the D-Day landing beaches, an important site of World War II history
⚓ and finally exploring Le Havre and its impressive harbor

As a bonus, Normandy welcomed our travelers with beautiful sunshine and clear blue skies
