A school in constant evolution

The Vilnius International French Lyceum, established in 1991, is a Lithuanian-registered institution affiliated with the AEFE (Agency for French Education Abroad). The Lyceum operates under the auspices of a non-profit French parents’ association, which renewed its convention in 2021.

Part of the AEFE network, which includes 552 equivalent institutions in 139 countries, with over 370,000 students enrolled worldwide, the Vilnius International French Lyceum adheres to the French Ministry of National Education’s curriculum, schedules, and directives, providing instruction primarily in French.

The Lyceum is recognized as an International School by the Lithuanian Ministry of Education, with all programs being homologated since 2023. Lithuanian language instruction begins at the preschool level (PS) and continues through the middle and high school years, offering students the opportunity to integrate into the local educational system.

The Vilnius International French Lyceum comprises a comprehensive educational community:

  • Preschool (PS to GS)
  • Elementary School (CP to CM2)
  • Middle School (6th to 9th grade)
  • High School (10th to 12th grade)
