Language pathways and international programs

Objectifs

  • Fostering intercultural dialogue
  • Acquiring proficiency in French and Lithuanian

  • Creating demanding and excellent linguistic pathways

Elementary School

Strengthening French and Lithuanian language skills:

  • 3 hours and 30 minutes of Lithuanian from CP to CE2, along with 1 hour and 30 minutes of English.
  • 3 hours of Lithuanian from CM1 to CM2, along with 2 hours and 30 minutes of English.

Middle school

At the middle school: starting from 2023, offering 3 excellent linguistic pathways:

  1. Lithuanian Pathway: a demanding pathway that prepares for a dual French and Lithuanian curriculum: + 5 hours of Lithuanian + 3 hours of English + 2 hours and 30 minutes of a new living language (Spanish – Russian – Italian or German).
  2. Anglophone Pathway: a linguistic pathway open to Anglophone culture with reinforcement of Lithuanian culture + 3 hours of English + 2 hours of Anglophone European language and culture + 1 hour of a subject (maths or HG) in English + 2 hours and 30 minutes of a new living language (Spanish – Russian – Italian or German) + 2 hours of Lithuanian.
  3. Classic Pathway: + 2 hours of Lithuanian + 3 hours of English + 2 hours and 30 minutes of a new living language (Spanish – Russian – Italian or German).

High school

At the high school: starting from 2023, offering 2 excellent linguistic pathways:

  1. Lithuanian Pathway: a demanding pathway that prepares for a dual French and Lithuanian curriculum + 4 hours of Lithuanian + 2 hours and 30 minutes of English + 2 hours and 30 minutes of a living language started in middle school (Spanish – Russian – Italian or German).
  2. Classic Pathway: + 2 hours of Lithuanian + 2 hours and 30 minutes of English + 2 hours and 30 minutes of a living language started in middle school (Spanish – Russian – Italian or German).

Our students take recognized certifications every year: Cambridge / TOEFL starting from the 11th grade.

Coming soon

2025-2027: An demanding Anglophone pathway starting from the second year: the European class with 4 hours of English + 1 hour of a non-linguistic subject in English + Pedagogical projects open to the Anglophone world (trips, cultural projects..)

2027: Introduction of the Baccalaureate with mention of a non-linguistic subject in English in science and history-geography.

Projects

ADN Project: Exchange between 2 and 6 weeks between two students of the AEFE network.

Trips to Paris in 11th grade.

Trips to Berlin in 12th grade.

Sports discovery during the JIJJ: France in 2023 – Athens in 2024.

UN trip to Geneva for 12th and 11th grades.

Discovery of Lithuania in 9th and 10th grades.
