The “Well-Being Week” at LIFV

What is the “Well-Being Week”?

The primary goal of the “Well-Being Week” is to raise students’ awareness of the importance of psychosocial skills in their personal and academic development. These skills are essential not only for the well-being of children and adolescents but also for their ability to learn effectively and live harmoniously with their peers.

Workshops on Emotions to Promote Self-Esteem

The CM1 and CM2 teachers decided to organize workshops on emotions for this week’s edition. These activities aimed to strengthen students’ self-esteem by providing them with tools to better understand and manage their emotions. The children learned to interact better with their classmates and build more self-confidence.

Why Are Emotional Skills Crucial?

Psychosocial skills, such as emotional regulation and empathy, play a fundamental role in students’ well-being. They help create a healthy school environment where students feel heard, respected, and ready to face daily challenges. By cultivating these skills from a young age, Lycée International Français de Vilnius prepares its students for a successful social and academic life.

A Week Committed to School Well-being

Beyond the practical workshops, the “Well-Being Week” was an opportunity to strengthen bonds within the school community. It emphasizes the importance of active listening, kindness, and cooperation—values essential for a successful and harmonious school life.

In conclusion, this initiative allowed LIFV students to better understand the importance of emotional well-being and self-esteem, while promoting positive interactions among them.
