Christmas celebration
The Christmas celebration will take place on 16 December 2022in the beautiful Vilnius University Theatre at the following address: Universiteto street 3. Please read carefully all the information for the smooth running of this event:
1. The times of the 3 shows for the evening of 16 December:
- Maternelle and CP, show from 5 pm to 6 pm
- CE1 and CE2, show from 6.30 pm to 7.15 pm
- CM1 and CM2, show from 7.30 pm to 8.30 pm
As the number of seats is limited, only two parents of students are invited to each show.
2. The arrival of the pupils at the University
The school will not organize transport between the Silo, Subacius and the theater due to the timing of the performances.
- For maternelle and CP on the Silo site: the after-school care and after-school activities are canceled on 16 December after 3pm (snack at 2.45pm) so that parents can collect and prepare their children for the show. Silo students are to be collected by parents at 3pm on 16 December. Parents are invited to bring their children to the theater by 16.45. The teachers will inform you of the dress code for your children.
- For CE1 and CE2 on the site of Subaciaus: the after-school care and after-school activities will continue on 16 December until 6pm. Children will not be under the responsibility of the school after 6pm, we invite parents to bring their children to the theater at 6.15pm.
- For CM1 and CM2 on the Subaciaus site: the after-school care and after-school activities will continue on 16 December until 6pm. Children will not be under the responsibility of the school after 6pm, we invite parents to bring their children to the theater at 7.15pm.
Access to the theatre is through the entrance of the central building of Vilnius University, through the entrance of the library (Universiteto 3). Leave your coats in the cloakroom and follow the signs to the theater. The toilets are located quite far from the theater hall, so please use the toilets near the cloakroom.
School holidays
The school holidays will begin for primary school pupils on 20 December 2022 at 12 pm*. The afternoon classes are canceled.
- Children from TPS to CM2 stay in the school for lunch
- After lunch, after school care group is available between 12 pm* and 6 pm on both the Silo and Subacius sites. Childcare is free of charge from 12 pm to 3 pm. Afterwards, the usual rates apply.
- After 4 pm, extracurricular activities are maintained on the 2 school sites

COLLEGE-LYCÉ
ALUMNI GATHERING – 19 DECEMBER
This year, LIFV celebrates its 30th anniversary. On this occasion, we are organising an alumni meeting, which will take place on Monday 19 December at LIFV, Subačiaus 7.
The event is open to former students as well as to current students in 1ère and Terminale.
On the programme:
- 15:00-17:00 Meetings with students: workshops on different themes.
- 17:00-17:20 Presentation of the Baccalaureate diplomas to the class of 2022
- 17:20-20:00 Buffet and social time with former teachers.
CHRISTMAS JUMPER DAY – 20 DECEMBER
On 20 December, the spirit of Christmas comes to LIFV… The whole school community, teachers, students, school life, administrative and other staff are invited to wear their best Christmas jumper for this day.
In Subačiaus, we invite volunteer musicians and singers to offer us all day songs and music in the Vie scolaire hall. We invite students to register at their class teacher (elementary school) or at the Vie scolaire.
