Dear Parents,
We would like to update you on the COVID situation in the French Lyceum at this moment, November 27, 2020. We can reassure you that the situation is stable and that classes in both buildings continue as planned.
- In building r. Šilo, 1 new employee COVID-19 case was identified this week. This is one of those identified last week and reported as a “contact case”. The person had been placed in isolation since the evening of November 19.
In total, since last week there have been 5 positive cases of COVID-19, detected for 2 staff members and 3 pupils of two affected classes.
People reported as “contact cases” continue their isolation period. All of them tested negative.
Distance learning continues for these two classes until the end of their isolation.
- In building r. Antakalnio, no new cases were detected this week.
In total, we have 1 positive case (a technical staff member who had no close contact with other people).
We continue to follow the recommendations of the Lithuanian Ministry of Health. The priority remains the respect of barrier gestures and the hygiene of the premises, social distancing and the management of student flows to avoid crossings and contact between them as much as possible.
We remind you that it is mandatory to inform the school by e-mail info@lifv.lt if your child is infected with COVID-19 or in the event of close contact with a patient outside of LIFV. The student will be able to return to school after 14 days of isolation.
Thank you for your understanding and for your trust.
