For the first time, the French International Lyceum of Vilnius, in exclusive collaboration with the PEP 40 center (Pupilles de l’Enseignement Public des Landes), is organizing a Summer Camp in South western France from July 8 to 13, 2024 in Biscarrosse, Landes. This experience is specially designed for students from our school, from CE1 to CM2.
Students will have the unique opportunity to choose from a variety of captivating themes. Our students will be integrated with French peers in each camp, with 5 reserved spots for our students in each thematic group. All camps take place in Biscarrosse, with visits to the local area.
The registration process is simplified, with the Lycée taking care of camp registration and flight booking.
This camp represents more than just a summer adventure; it offers a unique educational experience, promoting discovery, sharing, and the creation of lasting memories. Dive into this week rich in exciting activities in the heart of the French Landes!

ABOUT BISCARROSSE
Situated 80 km south of Bordeaux, Biscarrosse is a coastal town on the Atlantic coast, providing an idyllic setting for this summer adventure.

CAMP THEMES:
6-9 years old – Chivalry and Sorcery:
By the lake or in the heart of the forest, set off to meet legendary creatures… Would you like to experience an extraordinary adventure and unravel the mysteries of the Landes? Are you intrigued by fairies, trolls, witches and sorcerers? Enjoy an unforgettable summer camp in this faraway land, a place full of stories and legends.
Become a wizard or a witch with the magic potions course, make your own wizard’s hat and grimoire, discover quadball (Muggle quidditch)… Venture out to discover the mysteries of a labyrinth. Plus: pony rides, swimming at Navarosse and Parentis lakes, evening parties, games, storytelling…
9-14 years old – From the Circus to the Stars:
Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of the “Rue des Étoiles” festival with captivating circus and performance workshops. Explore magic, illusion, theater and digital art to create an unforgettable show with your partners. Discover the “Arts du Cirque” through sessions supervised by a passionate professional, exploring balance (on ball, rola-bola, wire, gogo-cycle), juggling (Chinese plates, balls, scarf, diabolos), acrobatics (trampoline, charivaris, pyramid), and magic (ropes, scarf, coins, close-up). Add to this adventure water and nature activities such as sailing, stand-up paddling, swimming, and exploring the Dune du Pilat. Evenings are punctuated by convivial evenings, games, themed evenings and outings, offering an experience rich in discovery and magical moments.
8-11 years old – Little Scientists:
A week rich in experiences! Come discover the world around you and play the role of apprentice chemists. Every day, new scientific tools to use for new experiments: canoe outing to collect plants and microorganisms that inhabit the lake and discover them under a microscope lens, understand the functioning of rockets to build and launch one, program a robot, discover astronomy, and conduct experiments by creating dyes with pigments. Every evening, playful and friendly gatherings.
9-14 years old – Catamarans in the Wind:
Embark on an exhilarating holiday dedicated to the pleasure and discovery of sailing! If sailing appeals to you, this is the perfect opportunity to share it with your friends, make progress and celebrate your exploits on a catamaran (Hobby Cat 15 or Fun-boat). At the end of your stay, you’ll receive a level certificate attesting to your new skills. The program includes five catamaran sessions for in-depth exploration, as well as nautical discovery sessions including windsurfing, dinghy sailing and stand-up paddling. There will also be plenty of time for swimming, whether in the ocean or in the lakes of Navarosse, Gastes or Parentis. Get ready for an exceptional nautical adventure where the passion of sailing blends with the joy of discovery, all in a spectacular natural setting.
8-11 years old – Nature Adventures:
Camping, horseback riding, fishing, treasure hunting, and swimming! In the heart of the forest, by the lakes, among the dunes, let’s explore the treasures of the Landes nature. Our mission: to learn about it and preserve it. During this adventure, you will acquire essential skills to manage without modern gadgets. Proposed activities: Camping in the wild; learning techniques for using natural elements; horseback riding through the forest; Treasure hunt games to explore local fauna and flora; canoe excursion to explore the lakes.
8-11 years old – Horseback Riding:
Horseback riding, swimming, Dune du Pilat, archery: a daily equestrian adventure, whether you are a beginner or experienced, awaits you for an exciting stay! In the program, five complete horseback riding sessions, including moments dedicated to care, technique, obstacles, and horseback rides. Adapted lessons for all levels will be provided to allow you to progress at your own pace. In addition to equestrian sessions, explore other exciting activities throughout your stay, such as stand-up paddle, trollball, and many more. The diversity of experiences will offer you a balanced adventure between discovering horseback riding and engaging in fun and varied activities.
