REMINDER: the General Assembly on November 17, 2020 online
Dear Parents,
We remind you that the general assembly of the parents’ association of the Lycée International Français de Vilnius will be held on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 17, 2020 6:00 p.m. online.
The link to join the videoconference session has been sent to you by e-mail.
Note that it is the Management Committee that makes the decisions concerning the most important aspects of the management of the school (budget, tuition fees, finances and many others). We therefore encourage all parents of pupils to participate in the management of the school and to elect parents’ representatives to the Management Committee.

Election of members
This year 3 out of 9 CG members will be elected. We only received 3 applications, but the statutes of the Parents’ Association require us to organize the vote.

Remote voting process
This year, exceptionally because of the Covid-19 situation, voting will take place remotely, on the Eduka system.
You have one vote per child. If you have 2 children at school you will therefore have 2 votes. Each voting link is linked to a child and is unique.
Start of voting: after the videoconference session, November 17, 2020 8:00 p.m.
Voting closes: November 19, 2020 8:00 p.m.

The role of the Management Committee
The Lycée International Français de Vilnius is a private, non-profit, parent-managed school.
Its administrative, accounting and control management are based on the voluntary commitment of parents gathered in the parents’ association (APELIFV statutes).
Partially renewed each year, the association’s office ensures the administrative and financial management of the establishment. Its members are elected from among the parents of the students at the General Assembly. The bureau meets regularly within the Management Committee, which deliberates on issues affecting the life of the establishment and votes on the budget.
