General Assembly ONLINE on Monday, December 12, 6:00 p.m.
Dear parents,
We are kindly inviting you to the General Assembly of the Association of Parents of the French International Lyceum of Vilnius as a member. The General Assembly will take place on Monday, the 12th of December, 6 pm. The meeting will be held online. The link to join the conference was sent to you by email.
The General Assembly is a very important event for the school, during which the functioning of the school is presented, as well as the budget for the coming year. Also, the members of the Management Committee are elected.

Election of members of the Management Committee
This year 5 representatives should be elected to the Board. We have only received 3 candidacies, but the Statutes oblige us to organize the vote. Here are the presentations of the candidates (click on the name):

Procedure of the vote
1) Quorum
A quorum of 30% of students represented must be reached to validate the GA.
In order to be able to count the number of members present, we ask you to register. Click here to register. The link is accessible for parents of pupils connected to EDUKA.
If the quorum is not reached, the second GA will be organized on Wednesday December 14th.
2) Voting
Voting will be carried out online using EUSurvey. You have one vote per child. If you have 2 children at school, you will have 2 votes.
Voting will open on the day of the GA at 6:15pm. The voting link (unique to each child) will be sent by email.

Role of the Management Commitee
The French International Lyceum of Vilnius is a non-profit, private school managed by the parents. Administrative, accounting management and control are based on parents’ voluntary involvement in the parents’ association. You can find the statutes on Eduka (Documents/ Public files/ Minutes of the Management Committee) .
Partially renewed each year, 9 association’s office holders, elected during the General assembly, ensure the administrative and financial management of the school. Elected members are parents. Association’s holders meet on a regular basis within the Management committee and deliberate on issues concerning the life of the institution and vote on the budget. For more information click here.
