the traditional galette des rois on Saturday, January 24

The school is pleased to invite parents to share a warm and friendly moment around the traditional galette des rois on Saturday, January 24, starting at 10:00 a.m.

This gathering will be an opportunity to discover or rediscover a French tradition celebrated every year in January. The galette des rois originates from Epiphany: a small figurine (fève) is hidden inside the cake, and the person who finds it becomes symbolically the king or queen for the day.

At the school, this tradition takes on special meaning as it allows us to share French culture, strengthen the bonds between families and the school community, and create a convivial moment that encourages exchange and togetherness.

We look forward to seeing many of you to celebrate this tradition together and to start the year in a spirit of sharing and good cheer.
