Languages instruction

French:

This is the language of instruction. It is used as early as 2 years old through an instruction identical to the one taught in schools in France. A Lithuanian-speaking assistant helps children from preschool classes. Instruction is taught in French from the very first year. Through pedagogical methods linked to action, the child quickly finds himself or herself diving into French language. Gradually, the child improves his or her vocabulary and manages to understand and communicate in French. Subsequently, individual support allows the child to go from the command of the oral language to the command of the written language.

Lithuanian:

Every child learns Lithuanian language from preschool until the last year of school. The aim is to enable Lithuanians to master their mother tongue perfectly. Children of other nationalities learn Lithuanian as a foreign language. We are very eager to ensure that Lithuanian children have a perfect command of their native language. In preschool classes, some time is devoted to communication activities in Lithuanian in order to implement the language and lead to its mastery.

English:

Our English teachers intervene 1 hour a week to teach this language to the children in GS (Big section, 5-6 years). It goes on throughout their whole schooling. Thus, our pupils in Terminale (last year in high school) are perfectly plurilingual: French, Lithuanian and English.
It is also possible to take introductory courses in English from MS (Medium section, 4-5 years) as an extracurricular activity.
